Target install_new_db_lang_code

Inserts MDM gold data corresponding to the locales provided as input.

When to use:

During MDM installation, the list of locales corresponding to which MDM gold data to be inserted into the database is obtained (Code Languages) as input.  When MDM gold data has to be inserted for one or more locales after MDM installation and configuration, this target can be used.

Invocation:

When the operating system is Windows:

• Go to <MDM_INSTALL_DIR>/mds/scripts
• Invoke madconfig install_new_db_lang_code

In other operating systems

• Go to <MDM_INSTALL_DIR>/mds/scripts
• Invoke ./madconfig.sh install_new_db_lang_code

Inputs obtained:

• The database password
• Comma separated list of one or more locales

Other details on database configuration are obtained from mdm_install.properties found in <MDM_INSTALL_DIR>/properties folder.  (In MDM v11.5, other details are obtained from <MDM_INSTALL_DIR>/properties/db.properties)

Tasks performed:

• Inserts rows in tables that have locale specific gold data, corresponding to the locales provided by the user
