The newest release of OMEGAMON XE on z/VM and Linux is now available. Released to coincide with the GA of z/VM 6.3, OM XE on z/VM and Linux allows you to monitor all your z/VM LPARs, regardless of which version of z/VM you are running. Designed to work with the enhancements found in z/VM 6.3, the latest OMEGAMON has all the capabilities of previous releases along with: Support for Single System Images (SSI)

ITCAM for Transactions data collectors on z/OS have filtering mechanisms for selecting portions of workloads for tracking and ignoring the rest. The overhead incurred by ITCAM for Transactions in a z/OS address space can be reduced, often significantly, through workload filtering where only units-of-work that are of interest are selected for tracking and the rest are excluded. NetView for z/OS has a long list of IP Management capabilities. Now available is a quick start procedure to enable the IP management functions in Netview v5.4 and v6.1.
