Hello, in support of Tivoli NetView for z/OS 6.1 System Automation for z/OS shipped toleration support which is needed to run with NetView 6.1. The APAR number is OA35900. Toleration support is available for SA z/OS 3.2 and SA z/OS 3.3 customers.
OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS V5.3.0 Fix Pack 1, along with PTF UA78624 is now available and delivers improved metrics, integration to OMEGAMON for IMS on z/OS V.5.3.0 and additional support. The following improvements are being provided: Task History Improvements: Previously, Task History filtering only supported one decimal place for response time and CPU time. Just a reminder that OMEGAMON XE for zOS (4.2.0 and 5.1.0) will use RMF to collect metrics like Coupling Facility, XCF and Locking. This is a way to lower the OMEGAMON collection cpu used for customers already collecting this information with RMF. We plan to continue to use RMF more over time for OMEGAMON collection.
NetView for z/OS REXX samples are available for integrating NetView with the zAware Server. These samples help identify when system anomalies are found by zAware and allow further automation and problem diagnosis using NetView functions.
