Using Canzlog to see if a message was automated on
Hello, This is John Arnesen with NetView and System Automation level 2 support. Are you running NetView v6r1 and wondering if a message was automated or not? There is a easy way to tell using the Canzlog. Issue NetView command: BR CANZLOG to pull up the Canzlog. Then put your cursor on a message and hit enter - I selected FKX701I in this case. Only 3 steps are needed to configure TWSz to use the MLOG switch function. STEP 1 → Run EQQJOBS to enable the new feature

zAnalytics – What it means to me
A system programmer received a call that one of the applications on a transaction server is having some problem. The system programmer logs on to a data analyzer, quickly glances at the analyzed reports, understands what might be going wrong and fixes it. This seems to be a first reaction when a customer notices an issue in their workshop. There seems to be an exponential growth in the data generated worldwide. About 90% of data was generated in the last two years alone. It is also significant to know that 70% of the unstructured data in... [More]
