If you saw the announcement for z/VM 6.3, you may have missed that it was also announced that OMEGAMON XE on z/VM and Linux will  be providing support for both SSI and LGR. With OMEGAMON XE you will be able to monitor your entire SSI, as well as view, monitor and set situations on all LGR events taking place within the SSI. this will enable you to know who moved which guests, when they did it, and how long it took for the move to occur.

This is John Arnesen with NetView and SA level 2 support.    HIPER Apars OA39553 (v6r1) OA38891(v5r4) are now available for a s0c8 abend in DSIMQMAN. This problem will occur for a NetView that has been up and running for a long time - more then 248 days in this case.   Please review the apars if you  are seeing the Abend0c8 or keep your NetView up and running for 248 days or longer.   The v6r1 apar is OA39553/UA66231 and is available. This is John Arnesen with a NetView and System Automation Level 2 support blog.    Are you running NetView v6r1 and seeing issues with MVS Message Automation?
