System Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS) has recently released the small product enhancement APAR OA43387 which contains improvements for the Relational Data Services (RDS). RDS helps you to organize large amount of data. Instead of using large sets of variables, you can use RDS in order to collect, update and retrieve data in relational tables similar to SQL tables. Why monitor CSA and ECSA? Its simple, when common storage (CSA, ECSA, SQA, and ESQA) is exhausted, a system outage will occur. Or just want to make a notation in the netlog when a System Automation command is issued? The INGCNTL command can do that for you. Hello All, Here are some interesting enhancements to SA z/OS, shipped earlier this year: OA41251 Allow dedicated log streams for each subplex in the physical sysplex. This requirement came up on several occasions in the past. When looking at INGHIST data, only history information about work items processed on this subplex (SA plex) are visible.
