Hello, This is John Arnesen with NetView and System Automation level 2 support. Are you running NetView v6r1 and wondering if a message was automated or not? There is a easy way to tell using the Canzlog. Issue NetView command: BR CANZLOG to pull up the Canzlog. Then put your cursor on a message and hit enter - I selected FKX701I in this case. Notice how AutoTime shows none? This means that the message was NOT automated on. Here is an example of a message that was automated on - DSI020I. You will notice that AutoTime is set to 1 msec.... Many 3270 emulators support an option to associate a mouse click with the Enter key. You might prefer to associate a mouse click with the Enter key in your 3270 emulator session. If you see in your e3270ui the Sysplex overview panels in the E3270UI show no data and it gives a use ZOSLPARS to get a list of LPARs and to be able to see LPAR level information then this technote may apply to you.
