The SMF type 89 record provides information about product usage on a particular MVS system. A record will be written for products that have registered to indicate that they are running on the system. The SMF type 89 record has two subtypes: Subtype 1 which contains product usage data Subtype 2 which contains product state data. IBM Tivoli OMEGAMON XE for CICS TG on z/OS provides Day 1 toleration support for CICS TG for z/OS V9.1 with no PTFs required. A performance monitoring tool for CICS Transaction Gateway for z/OS, shipped with IBM Tivoli OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS, this tool offers both Tivoli Enterprise Portal and the new Enhanced 3270UI solution which is included in OMEGAMON Performance Management Suite on z/OS V5.3.0.
