NetView for z/OS V6.2 is available today, October 25, 2013, bringing more value out of the box, with additions and enhancements in key areas. NetView V6.1 introduced the Canzlog function to bring together syslog, netlog, and job records in one consolidated log. A new NetView for z/OS v6.1 SVCLOG61 Serviceability Clist is available for download. This Clist logs diagnostic information for the local NetView v6.1 including
environment data, resources used, defaults, security options, and
CNMSTYLE data. An option is provided to collect a NetView dump. This

NetView for z/OS v6.1 Sample REXX programs can be downloaded to help you speed up zOS problem determination. The samples can be used to help you find different system messages captured in the NetView Consolidated Audit, Network and zOS log (Canzlog) that match on

NetView for z/OS REXX samples are available for integrating NetView with the zAware Server. These samples help identify when system anomalies are found by zAware and allow further automation and problem diagnosis using NetView functions. Hello, This is John Arnesen with NetView level 2 support. Apar OA39553/UA66231 for NetView v6r1 and OA38861/UA65375 for NetView v5r4 are available and marked HIPER. The apars fix a problem where a HANG can occur anytime a PIPE CORRWAIT is issued. We have seen NetView take a ABEND0C8 in DSIMQMAN as one symptom for this problem. Please note there are 43 modules in this apar, so there are potential issues with the HANG that have not been identified.
