For tasks that disable resource limiting using KCORMCLL API there is no indication the resource limiting thresholds have been reached.
UA 64466 and UA 64467 reference OA38999.
Resource Limiting was changed to issue the OC8902 message when a WARN threshold is reached and the new KCP8903I message was issued when a KILL threshold is reached. The task will not be killed by RLIM.
After you apply this maintenance, the change will take effect when you issue the OMEG RECYCLE in the CICS region or when the CICS region is recycled.
This is the new message:
KCP8903I: HH:MM:SS BYPASSED ABEND aaaa DUE TO xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx: TRAN
Explanation: The CICS task has exceeded the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx resource KILL threshold; however, resource limiting has been disabled for this task using the KOCRMCLL API. For example, it is running under the CICS Debug Tool. The xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx value is a text string explaining the threshold.

RLAD - ADABAS requests
RLCP - CPU time usage
RLDB - DB2 requests
RLDC - DATACOM requests
RLDL - DL/I requests
RLDS - DSA HWM storage
RLED - EDSA HWM storage
RLEL - elapsed time
RLFC - file requests
RLID - IDMS requests
RLMQ - MQ requests
RLSU - SUPRA requests
RLU1 - USREVNT1 requests
System action: The task will not be killed by resource limiting and this message will not be issued again for this resource while resource limiting is disabled.
User response: When a task is running under debugging tools, such as the CICS Debug Tool, it is expected that some resource thresholds might be exceeded. Typically no user response is required. Correct the application or increase the limit value in the Global Data Area, if appropriate.
