IBM Automation Control for z/OS 1.1.1 is now generally available and can be ordered. We have shipped many valuable enhancements with the new release, several of them requested by our clients and users via RFE requirements. With Automation Control 1.1.1 we are providing solutions for more than 40 RFE requirements.
Here are a few examples of what is included only in Automation Control 1.1.1:
RFE11593 - PDB entry browse
With this support you have now the possibility to be able to Browse PDB entries, rather than having always to go into Edit. This avoids the possibility of inadvertently changing a value when checking the definitions.
RFE 15995 - Don't lock the PDB for viewing while a build is running
Similar to above RFE
RFE 35255. - Move Shutdown Pass Interval from Application Info panel to Shutdown Policy panel
Starting with Automation Control 1.1.1 you need only one panel to adjust shutdown parameters, including shutdown pass interval, shutdown pass and commands. Up to Automation Control 1.1.0 there were cases were you had to adjust shutdown parameter using more than one panel.
