In TWSz 9.1 several matching criteria have been added for defining in the Application Description how a dependency between predecessor and successor operations is resolved. The criterion chosen to pick a matching predecessor that best resolves the dependency can be that the matching predecessor is the one with:
My application APPLMATCH91 has 4 external predecessors related to the 4 available matching criteria. Following the dependency definitions in AD for each predecessor.
Once an occurrence APPLMATCH91 is added to CP, when looking at its dependencies I'm not able to see neither:
What I see in CP panels is:
The only way I have to see, for example, the resolution criteria used for predecessor APPLPRED391 and the associated interval is to look at the APPLMATCH91 definition of dependencies in AD database.
TWSz 9.2 introduces the possibility to see the Dependency resolution criteria type and time interval for mandatory pending predecessors directly in CP panels.
Let's have the same application defined in TWSz 91 in TWSz 9.2 and let's call it APPLMATCH92.
The definition of dependencies with the 4 predecessors are exactly the same as for APPLMATH91.
Now, let's look at APPLMATCH92 dependencies in CP panels.
From EQQSXD1L panel :
scrolling right twice (by PF11 key) I got into panel EQQSXD3L:
where for each dependency it is possible to see directly the resolution criteria used and the corresponding Mandatory Pending Interval.
These information are available also at CP operation level, in panel EQQSPP3L:
in the “new style” panel for operation browse in CP EQQSOPSD:
