Important information for former AOTC participants and PULSE participants with focus on IBM System z products:
Below you will find the basic information announcing and inviting you to Pulse which we will again be a part of so I also want to add some AOTC (Automated Operations Technical Council) specific information.
The most important information below is that the call to speakers is open and we need speakers. Accepted speakers will again be provided with a free conference pass. Topics around automation, monitoring, scheduling, Cloud, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Asset Discovery, Storage. etc. would all be welcome. When submitting your sessions be sure to submit them under the following track 'Cloud and IT Optimization' curriculum and there under the 'System z Management & Operations'.
Pulse/AOTC will provide a fantastic user experience to you. We plan to have a kick off meeting on Sunday 23rd February 2014 around 3 PM. We will have three days of open sessions in three parallel rooms covering topics around the Tivoli automation portfolio and related products Monday through Wednesday. Followed by two days of Customer Advisory Council sessions with the developers, which will require the signing of a non-disclosure agreement to attend Thursday and Friday. There is no extra charge or special requirements to attend the CAC sessions other than a willingness to share your opinions and thoughts on our product directions. That is 6 days total if you include the Sunday session! Even though everything you see when registering for Pulse will indicate it is February 23-26 pay no attention. If you are attending AOTC then you get to attend for the full week, February 23-28, at no additional charge. Just plan your travel accordingly. I do not have an exact time for ending on Friday yet but will get that information out as soon as possible.
Registration will open on October 31, 2013.
And now back to your regularly scheduled Pulse generic information.
