Based on the feedback of some issues of installing WAS, JazzSM and DASH for the Beta-driver (Tivoli System Automation Application Manager milestone 1). I'm attaching a step-by-step document with screenshots (Install_WAS_JazzSM_DASH_for_BetaDriver.pdf) as an example for the installing WAS, JazzSM and DASH.
For this example,
Installation Manager Version: Version 1.6.2, Internal version: 1.6.2000.20130301_2248,
Machine: SUSE 11.3 64 bit
X Server: Cygwin/X
After the installation of WAS, JazzSM and DASH, when you continue installing the driver, you may encounter a problem that the
the fields can't be typed into through keyboard.
For this issue, if you are using Cygwin/X, please don't use the start menu entry 'XWin Server' in this case. Instead, open a cygwin terminal using the desktop shortcut and enter:
$ xinit -- -rootless
P.S. the official documents of the beta-driver are together with the beta-driver packages in directory of: TSAAM-410-Beta-Linux-x86\EEZ4100I386\docs

In graphical topology views showing domains and resources we now show additional icon decorators to visualize the following information:
For a domain:
- If the domain log requires attention because of new errors in the log
For a node
- If the node has been excluded
For a resource
- If the resource has an operator request / scheduler request
- If the automation is suspended for the resource
You can also filter by these states like you can for the main status of a resource (compound state).

Similar to the other commands which you can issue against (special class) of resources the operations console now offers a new option in the pop-up menu of a resource, which you open with a right-click.
You are able to select "Set Availability Target" fpr End-to-End ServerGroups - the menu entry will only show up when you select any e2e ServerGroup. The entry is not available for any other resource or SA z/OS servergroups.
In the appearing pop-up dialog you can specify the new target value and an optional comment which is only written to the LOG of the e2e automation domain.
The dialog below even shows what happens, if you do not use the spinner (the up/down arrows) to increase/decrease the new Target Value - but you specify a incorrect value (in this case the letter "a"). An error box will immediately force you to correct this mistake.

today we created a new WIKI entry for the ServerGroup as new policy concept, which we plan to introduce with our next SA Application Manager Release. See the WIKI page - and participate in the discussion.
The EOTC2013 feedback will be uploaded as comments shortly.

today we uploaded two new flash videos showing two scenarios with our new Operations Console. These "NewFace" dashboards show the current development version - and not yet the final dashboards. We are happy to hear your comments....
Find the videos (Flash, but opens in a web-browser) as ZIP files in our files section. Unzip the archive and open the HTML page you find in the folder - if you don't have a flas player, like FLV ;-)

We just published a solution in our product wiki on how to setup an SA MP end-to-end automation adapter with a non-root user:
Feedback very welcome!
