IBM SDK for Node.js 188.8.131.52 for Cordova tools interim fix has been made available for Rational Developer for i v9.1. The interim fix is to address the OpsenSSL vulnerability in the IBM SDK for Node.js used by the Cordova tools in the Modernization Tools, Java Edition. The interim fix does not affect any other features. To apply the interim fix, open IBM Installation Manager and select Update.
RDi provides you with options to use both local and remote help. A number of people were asking if it is possible to switch to local help to avoid firewall or network lag. Here is a wiki page documenting how.
The Rational Developer for i trial page ( https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/r/rdi/ ) is not currently showing the Web Install option but it is possible.
