My developerWorks, the day will probably come that you'll have a question or a problem and you'll need help. Instead of just shouting for help, here's three tips to get what you need.
1. First, I want to tell you about an elegant feature, that is so sleek and diminutive it might go unnoticed. Did you notice the little "Help" link in the upper right hand corner of the page on My developerWorks (illustrated by my blue arrow)? This is the first place to go when you have a question about My developerWorks features and functions!
I think you'll be impressed by the quantity and quality of information available in My developerWorks help!
One important thing you need to know about "Help" in My developerWorks - When you click on it, it is context-sensitive to where you are at in the My developerWorks site. For example, If you are in the Blogs application on My developerWorks, and you click on "Help", you'll see all the help topics related to Blogs. If you wanted help topics related to Profiles, then you'll need to click on Profiles, and then click on "Help" again.
2. If you don't find what you need in Help, or you have feedback about My developerWorks, or you're experiencing an error, join the My developerWorks feedback group and post in the discussion board.
3. You can also join the My developerWorks enthusiasts group and post a question in the discussion board, or reach out to one of your contacts in the My developerWorks enthusiasts group.
Did this "Help" info, help you? I hope so!
