Bruce Knox serves as Executive Vice President of the Circuit of The Americas, the multi-purpose motorsports and entertainment facility that will host the 2012 FORMULA ONE UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX and V8 SUPERCARS in Austin, Texas. In addition, Mr. Knox is a director with McCombs Partners, the entity that manages investments in a diverse group of portfolio companies and identifies new investment opportunities for Red McCombs.
Over time, Mr. Knox has established strong relationships within the motorsports world, specifically in the vintage and classic car auction industry. His long-time passion for motorsports as reflected by his previous work with eBay Motors. Previously, Mr. Knox served as CEO and director of Interactive Remarketing, a company he co-founded and grew to become the largest seller on eBay Motors, managing asset portfolio liquidation for clients such as Bank of America, HSBC, Capital One, Wells Fargo, Americredit and National City. The company was acquired by McCombs Partners in 2005.
Mr. Knox serves as Vice Chairman of the Collectors Foundation, a not for profit organization that provides scholarship and educational opportunities for young people in the automotive industry.
Michael Gerentine, Vice President, IBM Global Business Partners & Midmarket Marketing
Mike Gerentine is the Vice President of Marketing for IBM’s Global Business Partners & Midmarket Marketing organization. He is responsible for the development of marketing strategies for IBM’s business partner channel and midmarket organizations. In this dual role, Mike leads the design and execution of worldwide channel marketing programs for IBM Business Partners that sell and support IBM hardware, software and services. He is also responsible for developing marketing strategies, demand programs, midmarket awareness and managing the midmarket product portfolio and offerings for the growing midmarket sector.Date and Time:
