Who in this world has not seen someone doused with a bucket of ice water lately? The team who conceived the ALS
The Challenge works, in part, because it touches a childlike sense of fun in those being doused and the video audience alike. It’s a game of “Tag You’re It!” on a grand scale, passing the challenge to friends, colleagues and family members. And, wonderfully, all that fun helps a good cause, which makes the icy endeavor a very warm-hearted act that just feels good.
Apparently the donations are inspiring the ALS Association to reimagine things too. "Increased awareness and unprecedented financial support will enable us to think outside the box," the ALS Association said in a statement.
It is new ideas like the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that can be used as case studies to inspire students to reimagine our world to achieve game changing innovations. As your classes begin take the challenge too by introducing fun and meaningful projects to your students.
