This is embarrassing!  While we always encourage users to upgrade to the latest AIX TL and SP levels, AIX 6.1 TL 8 will cause the aixDataProvider-61 process to core on the AIX Premium and VIOS Premium agents.  AIX 6.1 TL 8 is the underlying AIX for VIOS 2.2.2, so that is why the VIOS agent also has this problem.  Earlier, the AIX Premium agent also had a core problem on AIX 7.1 TL1.
