Many users have suffered of this problem in the last 12 months. One reason seems to be directly related to an unspecified packaging incompatibility between GA release (7.1) and FP3 IFIX007. Conclusion : It is not a good idea to patch the ITCAM Managing Server v7.1 GA (the one originally released in 2009) directly with FP3 IFIX007. A better approach is to regularly apply each fixpack, one by one, as soon as it is available.
