In the last years, meaningful improvements have been introduced to make data collection for Process attribute group more stable in any condition, no longer dependant on the amount of monitored processes, the length of the Command Line and other elements that in the past caused some troubles. Despite of this, it can be anyway useful to have some information to know what to look at when the output of the "All Process" workspace view is not the expected one. For example, I have recently worked on a case where from time to... [More]
When setting up your on Cloud environment, you install agents on the local systems that you want to monitor. Agents communicate with the IBM Performance Management on Cloud server. If your browser or agents cannot connect to the cloud server, you might need to configure your agents to communicate through a forward proxy. To test your agent connectivity, ensure that your firewall rules allow return traffic from specific IP addresses and port 443. IP addresses are specific to each data center. For more... [More]

How can MQ configuration agent product discover only a subset of the queue managers present on a system? For security purposes, when more than one WebSphere MQ environments coexist on the same system, you may be interested in configuring the MQ Configuration agent product (KMC) so that only some of the queue managers created on the system may be discovered and so managed by the product. When you install and start the KMC agent on a system and you run the Discovery procedure on the Configuration view on TEP, all the queue managers present... [More]

This has been recognized as a code defect and will be fixed in APAR IV83641. Anyway as a workaround, for a situation or query against this table that... [More]
