Abstract: In the 1st segment of this presentation we will discuss how SmartCloud Monitoring - Application Insight provides a lightweight solution for monitoring performance & availability of your web-delivered applications. We will discuss how extensibility, automated elasticity and simple integration/plugability capabilities will provide the ability to monitor and automatically scale the APM infrastructure based on demand of critical Business Applications in cloud. We will also demonstrate how SmartCloud Monitoring - Application Insight can be downloaded, installed and configured in a matter of minutes thus maximizing Time to Value.

The second half of the presentation introduces IBM SmartCloud Application Performance Diagnostics (APD) that helps optimize the performance of your WebSphere applications. We will show how this offering leverages the lightweight technology introduced in SmartCloud Monitoring Application Insight to deliver powerful WebSphere diagnostics capabilities with an exciting new web-based user interface.
