A few years ago, our neighbors moved out of state, but left us with a forsythia bush. My wife knows how to transplant bushes without killing them, and we now have this glorious forsythia that is full of vibrant yellow blooms that we can see from our kitchen window. While I can look into my back yard and see what has changed, how can you keep up with changes to LPARs and Servers in your System p environment?

Now the new agent determines these events using the HMC command lssvcevents. There is no more comparing old inventory with new inventory - the agent just gets the events from lssvcevents, filters for the ones we are interested in and passes them on. You can see the events in the Managed Envi
The view shows LPAR events for migration begun, completed, or aborted, LPAR created or deleted, and events for CEC added to or deleted from the HMC. In addition, it will show the source and destination for each event. And of course, these events can all be stored in the data warehouse so you can monitor changes in the environment.
