What's supported , what's not? Find yourself wondering this, here you can find the answers in one neat place.....
Software product compatibility reports contain all supported versions of IBM Software and related Operating Systems.
Here you will discover how easy it is to obtain this info
Click on below link that takes you to home page for the reports...
On this page , choose the report that best suits your needs from following options:
In this example I am using the "Select a product. Get the list of the operating systems that it supports".
Click on the "Create a report" link to start customising your personal report
Search on software product name and click search .
Select the product group you want ...
Select version / release you are searching on ( check show Fix packs if you want to see breakdown by fix pack ).
Select the operating systems for which you would like to see the compatibility reports
Next select the individual components you wish to add to the report and click submit
On left hand side you will see the operating system you selected.
Under the components column hover over the blue dots to see support status of components..
Under the notes column you will find valuable information on specific OS V component known issues with links to tech notes to resolve..
If you hover the cursor over the blue circles in the components column, you will see quick views of the support level of each component.
NOTE: As mentioned before, the notes column will give a detailed explanation if there is limited support for any component. This may also include support levels on specific OS such as TLs on AIX for example.
This very simple method can assist you in plan and checking the compatabilty of IBM components Vs the operating systems you have in your environments
