The IBM Linux KVM agent monitors your Linux Kernel-based Virtual Machines (KVM) environment or application. IBM Performance Management V18.104.22.168 introduces an enhanced Linux KVM agent, which is now equipped with comprehensive dashboards.
With these new dashboards, the Linux system administrators can monitor the key performance metrics of the Linux KVM applications, and ensure that the KVM applications are always up and running without any performance bottlenecks.
Linux KVM administrators, who monitor the KVM applications in an enterprise environment, need to know the following details of KVM applications:
The Linux KVM agent provides all this information and also generates alerts when the predefined criteria for the optimum performance of KVM applications are not met. Administrators can take necessary corrective actions based on these generated alerts to bring the KVM applications back to their normal conditions.
Read this blog to learn more about the features that are added in the new dashboard pages for monitoring KVM applications.
