I'm back with a quick little snippet for you all. We haven't seen this one pop up very often, but we have had PMRs logged about it so it's worth pushing this out in case you run into similar issues.
We had a customer trying to install the following packages -
And strange things started to happen.
1. Install 184.108.40.206 base successfully with no apparent errors.
Logfiles were requested and examined. For reference, these are the logs for the languge pack install if you'd like to look yourself or if support requests them. These are generated in the home directory of the user that carried out the install -

It was confirmed that this was a specific issue with the Language Pack installer file though we're not sure if this was down to some local environmental issue, the mix of fixpacks the customer was using or some other underlying issue. This was resolved by the Language Pack team sending a new lpinstaller.bin file to the customer so should you encounter a similar issue in your environment, please log a case with us through your support portal and we will be able to assist you in resolving this.
