It may happen that after one has upgraded the MQ agent or installed it at version 730 or higher, the following behavior occur:
whenever you start the MQ agent, it stops LZ agent or when you stop MQ agent and try to run LZ agent alone, it fails.
What has happened? Why the installation was broken after the MQ agent install/upgrade?
Basically when this problem occurs, the pre-requisites for MQ agent were not respected and this has caused the current problem if the OS agent is at level 623 (plus maintenance) or lower.
MQ agent v730 and later requires ITM 630 FP2+ and so it upgrades some framework libraries which are also used by OS agent and since this latter is at v623 FPx then there is a mismatch in libraries which generate the problem.
The quickest options to get to a working installation are as follow:
Option 1 - Upgrade the OS agent to 6.30.02 or higher (it requires ITM TEMS/TEPS to be at that level or higher)
Option 2 - Uninstall the 7.30 MQ agent and the rest of the agents as well.
Install the 6.23.xx OS agent and the 7.1 MQ agent instead. The 7.1 MQ agent media is based on the ITM 6.23.01 installer and shared components.
Option 3 - Uninstall the 7.30 MQ agent and the rest of the agents as well.
Install the 6.23.ss OS agent in a ITMHome and the 7.3 MQ agent on another ITMHome
This is also true if you install/upgrade any agent that is based on v630 libraries but you have old OS agent based on 623 (or lower) libraries.
