The data retention periods are stored (by table name) in the ADMIN_MAINTENANCE table of the Datamart DB.
By default, 10 days of raw data in the past is being saved for the F_TRANSACTION_DATA, F_TR
The customer does not any have Synthetics data so the F_SY
Here are the Db2 SQL commands that the customer can issue on the Db2 server to change the retention periods as described above:
1) db2 connect to DATAMART user itmuser using xxxxx
2) db2 "update ADMIN_MAINTENANCE set DATA_RETENTION=2 where TABLE_NAME LIKE'F_%' "
3) db2 "update ADMIN_MAINTENANCE set DATA_RETENTION=1 where TABLE_NAME LIKE'AGG_%' "
4) Free up Db2 server storage
Note: this command assumes that the default tablespace (USERSPACE1) was used for the Datamart DB tables. If your Db2 admin configured a different tablespace then you will need to specify it in place of USERSPACE1
db2 "ALTER TABLESPACE USERSPACE1 REDUCE MAX"
