With overload protection, regulate the rate at which the on-demand router (ODR) forwards traffic to application servers, preventing heap and CPU exhaustion to maintain system stability and efficiency.
Dynamic Cluster: Dynamic clusters automatically adjust the number of active cluster members based on demand, scaling up or down as needed to ensure optimal performance, and to meet user response time objectives. Intelligent Management utilizes weights and workload management to dynamically balance workloads across cluster members, leveraging real-time performance data. This enables the application environment to automatically scale, expanding or contracting based on workload demands to maintain optimal efficiency and performance.
Health Management: Manage the health of your application server environment with a policy-driven approach that enables automated actions based on predefined monitoring criteria. Health management safeguards the system against application malfunctions, such as memory leaks and application hangs, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
Application Edition Management: Ensures seamless, interruption-free application rollouts. With application edition management, you can validate new application versions in the production environment before directing live traffic. This feature provides comprehensive management and operational control over application editions, enabling smooth, disruption-free upgrades.
High Availability Deployment Manager: When this configuration option is chosen, multiple deployment managers are set up to enhance system reliability. The High Availability (HA) deployment manager function eliminates the deployment manager as a single point of failure for cell administration. In this setup, deployment managers operate as peers, with one designated as the active (primary) manager responsible for hosting the administrative functions of the cell, while the others remain in standby mode as backups, ensuring seamless failover and continuity.
HA Plugin Config Generator: This guarantees that the configuration is consistently generated by one process within the cell, ensuring reliability even if other processes become unavailable.
