This October, IBMers and clients from around the world will gather in Berlin and New Orleans for two sessions of IBM Analytics University 2017, presented by LearnQuest. But what is IBM Analytics University and, more importantly, why should you care?
Technical event of the year
IBM Analytics University is the premier technical IBM Analytics event of 2017. This is not merely a “show and tell” event. With over 75 sessions, workshops, deep-dive product demonstrations, and hands-on labs, you’ll have the opportunity to actually test and experience how the entire suite of IBM Analytics tools can work for, with, and in your business. Whether you want to build your analytics skills, try the latest tools, connect with peers, or develop new analytics use cases, there’s a place for you at Analytics University. The event is organized around 4 tracks; each track will emphasize different aspects of the IBM Analytics suite, including IBM Cognos Analytics, IBM Watson Analytics, IBM Planning Analytics, and IBM SPSS Predictive Analytics (including IBM Data Science Experience). In addition, each track is tailored to a particular set of analytics priorities:
- Analytics for All: Modern BI for the analytics-driven organization
You just want analytics to work: at all levels of your organization, quickly, and with any kind of data.
- Architecture and Technology: Modernize your foundation
You’re most interested in how to keep the data safe and how to manage user access and roles…probably because you’ll be responsible. This track also focuses on the practicalities of flexible deployment options: on-premises, on private cloud and in a hybrid cloud environment.
- Insight to Action: Make predictive data science core to your business
You’re ready to start using data to predict future outcomes. This track is geared toward data scientists and citizen data scientists.
- Manage Performance: Drive business strategy and outcomes
You want to bring data to bear on your strategic, financial and operational planning—use data to establish smarter business goals and measure whether you’re achieving them.
