Are you ready for GDPR?

The countdown clock to GDPR – the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (EU) – is being closely followed by business leaders in Europe and around the world as it moves towards its May 25, 2018 deadline. While this harmonized data protection law was designed to give EU citizens more control over their personal data, there is no doubt that GDPR is having a more widespread effect due to the fact that many corporations are global in nature. If obliged to meet a regulation for some affiliates in the EU, many companies will be poised to adopt it global if needed, and may just do so for the sake of stakeholder trust and good governance. OpenPages Discussion Forum Moving

The IBM OpenPages GRC discussion forum is moving to a new platform. The new forum is live now. You can view topics that others have created and commented on, but you'll need to log in with your IBM ID in order to create a topic or comment on an existing one. Note that there are separate forums for OpenPages GRC Platform, and for OpenPages GRC on Cloud. We suggest that you use the forum for OpenPages GRC Platform for all topics. Once you get to the Forum, you can click Follow to be notified of new posts. The existing GRC Community discussion Forum will be retired in mid-May. Content from the Forums will not be migrated to the new Forum. The GRC Community itself continues and remains a place to get news of events, and access to videos and other resources. We look forward to engaging with you soon!

If you need to access the Community, please follow the access instructions below. Configuring SPNEGO SSO for IBM OpenPages GRC (on WebSphere) Using the Microsoft Active Federation Directory (ADFS)

SPNEGO, or the Simple and Protected GSSAPI Negotiation Mechanism, enables a straightforward Single Sign-on (SSO) and extends Kerberos to Web applications through the standard HTTP protocol. Read this post in the GRC Power Plant blog to learn how to configure it with IBM OpenPages GRC Platform.  The instructions were tested with OpenPages 7.4.0 but are expected to also work with 7.2.x and 7.3.x.
