Multimedia Libraries are software-specific, individual collections of video tutorials that show end users how to perform tasks. Use these Multimedia Libraries to enhance skills development:

Each Multimedia Library contains between 275 and 350 tutorials, delivered right to the desktop. Collections are useful to help users develop skills needed to increase productivity and reduce help desk calls.

Description |
Multimedia Libraries are individual collections of video tutorials that help end users perform tasks when using IBM Connections, IBM Quickr , IBM Sametime , and IBM Lotus iNotes .
Each Multimedia Library contains between 275 and 350 tutorials, delivered right to the desktop. Each tutorial provides "how to" guidance and support, and can be used as a training solution to help users develop skills needed to increase productivity and reduce help desk calls.
Multimedia Library helps enhance end-user skills development:
- Affordable - This comprehensive collection of content is available at competitive prices.
- Supports global languages - English, French, Canadian French, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, German, Japanese, Chinese Simplified, and Chinese Traditional.
- Embedded into Lotus Notes - Video clips can be embedded directly into Lotus Notes as a help file or by using a simple plug-in. Companies can also post the libraries on their intranet.
- Helps ensure successful software rollouts and change management - Individual clips can be selectively compiled and sent to employees via email to prepare for a product rollout or upgrade.
- Reduces help desk expenses - Employees have the answers they need on their desktops. Help desk staff can send email clips or point them to answers in a self-serve manner.
- Easy installation - They can be added to an intranet or embedded right into Lotus Notes , which can be effective for remote users.
- Contains text transcription - Each video clip includes a step-by-step text transcription that can be printed for follow-up learning.
- Simple administration and distribution - No need to identify, track, or report usage since one enterprise license is all that is needed for an entire company.
- Consistent yet flexible - Organize the clips into a training plan for new users or for employees upgrading to a new version of software.
