This announcement provides the granularity to selectively delete certain feature codes if they are not allowed to be imported.

| Overview |
|
For countries that do not allow the import of certain original equipment manufacturer (OEM) devices, this announcement allows those OEM devices to be de-selected and not shipped by IBM. This way, only feature codes that are allowed will be included in shipped machines; items (devices) which make up the de-selected features must be sourced locally by the client with compatible devices.
