Modification: IBM Software Maintenance After License Fee for IBM i discount offering

Effective April 3, 2012, the IBM® Software Maintenance After License Fee for iSeries® discount offering has been modified.
The following changes are being made with this announcement:
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
This announcement supersedes Announcement Letter 306-033, dated February 14, 2006.
Customers who have let their IBM i Software Maintenance (SWMA) lapse can receive a discount on After License Fees to restore SWMA within 1 year of the lapse.
If your IBM Software Maintenance for IBM i coverage has lapsed for a period of less than 12 months, you can receive an offering discount ranging from 8 to 100% off the IBM Software Maintenance After License Fee for IBM i when you reinstate your coverage.
The offering discount is based upon the number of months your coverage has lapsed.

Orders must be received by IBM on or after April 3, 2012.

The discount you are eligible to receive under this offering is based upon the number of months your coverage has lapsed as follows:

Months are calendar months. For example, an expiration on September 30, 2011, will require the order to be time-stamped on or before October 30, 2011, to qualify for the 100% IBM Software Maintenance After License Fee discount. An expiration on September 30, 2011, will need to be processed on or before September 30, 2012, to qualify for the minimum discount. If it is one day beyond a month delimiter, an additional month is added.
IBM reserves the right to audit sales transactions on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of this offering.
Noncompliance with the terms and conditions of this offering will result in IBM invoicing you the difference between the discounted price you should have been billed and the price you were billed.
In Canada, you are responsible for all applicable taxes such as Goods and Services Tax (GST), Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), Provincial Sales Tax (PST), and Quebec Sales Tax (QST).
IBM reserves the right to modify or withdraw this offering at any time.
