The new, higher purchase prices are effective May 16, 2017. The increased purchase prices do not apply to orders that were received by IBM before MMay 16, 2017, and the on-order machines will be shipped on or before May 16, 2017. State and local government customers: The increased purchase prices do not apply to orders that were received by IBM before May 16, 2017. In addition, the machines must be shipped on or before the estimated shipment date in effect on May 16, 2017, or be shipped on or before May 16, 2017, whichever is later. For machines purchased under an existing IBM volume commitment or special bid, the respective price protection provisions apply.
