Today, IBM announces increases in purchase prices on March 24, 2017. The new, higher purchase prices are effective March 24, 2017. The increased purchase prices do not apply to orders that were received by IBM before March 24, 2017, and the on-order machines will be shipped on or before March 24, 2017.. State and local government customers: The increased purchase prices do not apply to orders that were received by IBM before March 24, 2017. In addition, the machines must be shipped on or before the estimated shipment date in effect on March 24, 2017, or be shipped on or before March 24, 2017, whichever is later. For machines purchased under an existing IBM volume commitment or special bid, the respective price protection provisions apply.
