Overview
IBM® DataPower® Gateway introduces a new add-on for IBM Sterling® Transformation Extender. The add-on enables organizations to use Sterling™ Transformation Extender capabilities with DataPower Gateway, a specialized highly performant, secure, integrated gateway. Use of Sterling Transformation Extender on DataPower Gateway requires either the DataPower Integration Module for DataPower Gateway or the B2B Module for DataPower Gateway.
DataPower Gateway delivers security, control, integration, and optimization functionality. It builds on industry-leading capabilities for securing and integrating business applications and services. For additional information, see the IBM DataPower Gateway website.
Sterling Transformation Extender empowers organizations to transform and validate data and helps ensure compliance with data standards. It is specifically designed for high-volume, complex transformation and validation of data across a range of different formats and standards. With Sterling Transformation Extender, organizations can automate, accelerate, and scale processes to help reduce complexity and related costs. It includes advanced support for metadata mapping, validation, governance, and compliance for specific industries, including finance, healthcare, and supply chain.
In order to use Sterling Transformation Extender Pack products that target specific industry data standards on DataPower Gateway, organizations must separately purchase the Sterling Transformation Extender Pack products. Overview
IBM Storage Fusion offers bare metal and VPC licensing. The bare metal licensing will be available only in x86 environments. Both the additional and existing VPC licensing models are available on IBM Power®, IBM zSystems™, and x86 environments.
