Overview

Top rule

Pliant Network Automation is a low-code platform for process automation. It transforms API code into low-code building blocks, enabling the abstraction of all APIs in their infrastructure into a single place for automation and execution. With Pliant Network Automation, you can automate code creation with its ability to drag and drop API calls and turn them into robust code. Plug-and-play integration capabilities include the following:

  • Can add new APIs within 15 business days
  • Provides automation without compromising security by having a full role-based access control on a per code block basis
  • Enables secure execution of API commands, including full user logging and audit trails for after-the-fact review

With one unified API-driven platform, Pliant Network Automation simplifies, streamlines, and can help secure the communication between organizations' mission-critical platforms, services, and applications. Pliant Network Automation helps enable the following:

  • Accelerated mean time to resolution of business challenges
  • Reduction in time to market for new service launches
  • Centralized administrative control and transparency

Supported operating systems:

  • Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® 8.x

Pliant Network Automation runs as a container-based system on top of Kubernetes. For installation and management of the Pliant Network Automation cluster, a Linux-based management host is required and should have the following software resources:

  • Linux packages and commands:
    • cURLl
    • wget
    • jq
    • kubectl
  • Access to the Kubernetes cluster management API
  • A Kubernetes context file providing access to the cluster

Statement of good security practices

Top rule

IT system security involves protecting systems and information through intrusion prevention, detection, and response to improper access from within and outside your enterprise. Improper access can result in information being altered, destroyed, or misappropriated or can result in misuse of your systems to attack others. Without a comprehensive approach to security, no IT system or product should be considered completely secure and no single product or security measure can be completely effective in preventing improper access. IBM systems and products are designed to be part of a regulatory compliant, comprehensive security approach, which will necessarily involve additional operational procedures, and may require other systems, products, or services to be most effective.

Important: IBM does not warrant that any systems, products, or services are immune from, or will make your enterprise immune from, the malicious or illegal conduct of any party.
