IBM Kenexa Talent Suite is a family of cloud offerings that help you hire, engage, and retain great talent by combining recruiting, onboarding, and talent management solutions with industry-leading enterprise social software. Candidates, new hires, existing employees, human resource professionals, and managers can access the solutions through an intuitive and integrated experience that utilizes responsive design for mobile devices. Then, by using the power of Watson Analytics, included in the Kenexa Talent Insights offering, human resource professionals can quickly discover valuable trends and insights from their talent data using simple natural language instead of time consuming requests to IT departments.

IBM Kenexa Talent Suites include the following offerings and enhancements:

  • IBM Kenexa Talent Acquisition Suite combines recruitment, onboarding, and social collaboration capabilities so that you can hire top talent and help them become productive quickly. In this release, you can leverage the power of employee's social networks with social referral capabilities. The experience for those verified candidates is improved with mobile device support. Once the candidates are hired, they can also use the IBM Connections Social Cloud mobile application to collaborate and learn from existing employees in communities. In this offering, support for franchise management and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services form I-9, Section 3 re- verification for your employee onboarding process is also added to Kenexa Talent Acquisition Suite.
  • IBM Kenexa Talent Optimization Suite includes performance management, succession management, and social collaboration applications to help maximize the performance of your human capital. The performance management module enables you to streamline the entire performance planning and review process by centralizing workflows and process. Succession planning helps you identify internal candidates with the necessary skills, competency ratings, and performance histories to fill potential vacancies. There is also an optional compensation planning module that supports budgeting, allocation, and administration of multiple pay types.
  • IBM Kenexa Talent Insights is an optional module that simplifies data discovery and analysis without advanced analytics skills. By simply using natural language text, human resource professionals can gain actionable insights from their talent suite data. This offering also includes guided data discovery and automatically generated charts to help you identify trends and relationships in your recruiting, onboarding, and talent management processes. You can gain insights about your human capital that can help drive better executive decisions.

  • IBM Kenexa Talent Optimization Suite: An integrated solution providing IBM Kenexa Talent Manager on Cloud (performance management, succession management, and compensation management modules) and social collaboration (SmartCloud Connections).
  • IBM Kenexa Talent Suite: Bringing together the capabilities of the Kenexa Talent Acquisition Suite and the Kenexa Talent Optimization Suite into a single, integrated solution that provides recruitment technology (Kenexa BrassRing on Cloud), onboarding (Kenexa Onboard on Cloud), assessments (select Kenexa Behavioral Assessments), Kenexa Talent Manager on Cloud (performance management, succession management, and compensation management modules), and social collaboration (SmartCloud Connections).

Each suite offering is designed to create an exceptional experience for the end user (based on the IBM Digital Experience offering) allowing for:

  • A built-in enterprise social platform with connection and collaboration features, which are designed to enhance employee experience and productivity.
  • A suite web home page that brings together talent and social capabilities in a single location, with intuitive navigation that allows access to those capabilities from anywhere in the suite.
  • An integrated user experience, which simplifies use and provides a consistent look and feel across all suite solutions.
  • Persona-based displays, providing users with information and capabilities specific to their job role, and offering personalized information for immediate action.

Kenexa Talent Suites run on the IBM software as a service (SaaS) cloud infrastructure, which is designed to provide enterprise class performance and availability.

IBM Kenexa BrassRing

Kenexa BrassRing is a global recruiting solution that is highly configurable, scalable, offers robust flexibility, and extensive language support. Kenexa BrassRing enables large, complex global organizations to find, hire, and retain quality candidates for each position. Kenexa BrassRing can be used by organizations looking to automate and improve their applicant tracking process.

The features in Kenexa BrassRing include:

  • Social referral capabilities that allow organizations to automate and amplify employee referrals through email, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Third-party assessment vendors can be easily integrated with Kenexa BrassRing through a standardized web service, ensuring that the right candidates are hired for the right jobs.
  • Communication support for candidates on their mobile devices through SMS service aggregators, which provide faster and easier implementation.
  • Candidate forms access through the web or email can now be viewed and edited on mobile devices. No additional configuration is required, and supported functionality includes:
    • Add, edit, view, approval modes
    • Form privileges
    • Save as draft
    • Approvals

    • Disclaimers
    • Question branching
    • Field help text

IBM Kenexa Onboard

Kenexa Onboard is a flexible, global onboarding solution that provides a seamless bridge between the candidate experience and the employee experience. With easy compliance tools and social collaboration applications in the suite, Kenexa Onboard is designed to drive high performance from day one.

The features in Kenexa Onboard include:

  • Support for multiple Employer ID Numbers (EIN) through a central management screen. This allows franchise-based organizations with multiple EINs to use a single workflow and provide the correct franchise information on a new hire's employment forms including W4, I-9, and with their E-Verify processing.
  • Form I-9 Section 3 activities that can now be completed in Kenexa Onboard. The I-9 Section 3 activity can be placed in a workflow or generated through a background process. The background process will look for expired documentation, and can be configured to send notifications on a 30 day, 60 day, or otherwise specified timeframe, before the I-9 documentation expires.

IBM Connections Social Cloud is an innovative set of web-based collaboration services combined with social networking capabilities. Delivered as software as a service, Connections Social Cloud includes communities, file sharing, instant messaging, online document editing, activity management, and networking. These capabilities, which can also be accessed through mobile devices, can help accelerate recruiting, onboarding, and talent management processes across your organizations.

IBM Kenexa Talent Optimization Suite

Kenexa Talent Optimization Suite is an integrated solution providing performance management and succession management modules from IBM Kenexa Talent Manager on Cloud and social collaboration from Connections Social Cloud. An integrated compensation management module is available as an option.

The performance management module enables you to streamline the entire performance planning and review process by centralizing workflows and increasing visibility into process completion. It allows you to set goals, manage performance, and link to pay. It can be tailored to your organization and help you create organizational alignment, connect rewards with performance, and manage your talent pipeline, resulting in significantly improved outcomes at both the individual and organizational level.

The succession management module helps you identify internal candidates, with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities, who best fit your succession management strategy. You can compare candidates side-by-side, identify skill gaps, and create development plans to build a deep talent pool.

The optional compensation management module for the Kenexa Talent Optimization Suite helps support organizations to:

  • Allocate budgets.
  • Manage multiple pay practices.
  • Calibrate appropriate pay for performance.

With the compensation management module, you can easily review compensation across an organization, collect manager pay recommendations, and manage plans from a centralized tool.

Kenexa Talent Insights

Kenexa Talent Insights, an optional offering, includes the power of Watson Analytics to simplify data discovery and analysis without requiring advanced analytics skills. Human resource professionals can use natural language text to gain actionable insights from their talent suite data. The offering also includes guided data discovery and automatically generated charts to help you identify trends and relationships in your recruiting, onboarding, and talent management processes. You can quickly gain insights about your human capital that can help drive better executive decisions. It contains the following features:

  • The ability to test hypothesis using guided data discovery, analyzing the visual results and are able to dig deeper to find the answers that are needed.
  • Capability to identify and surface hidden patterns and relationships in data and suggests to human resource professionals a set of potential next areas to explore.
  • Integrated data connectors that allow you to capture a robust amount of valuable data across the talent suite recruiting, onboarding, performance, compensation, and success planning processes. Additional data can be captured from external systems or spreadsheets using optional data connectors and services.
  • Interactive visualizations that illustrate insights. The insights are retuned in a format that allows the user to visually analyze and explore the data. The visualizations have filtering and drill down capabilities allowing for more in-depth discovery.
