Detailed Description
This RPQ provides a 4888-E0C with several hardware modifications:
The scan cabinet will have flexible bumpers installed on a
horizontal centerline approx 11 inches from the floor.
The bumpers will be gray.
The scan cabinet will have custom filler plates that replace an
embedded lane scanner.
The plates cover the well in the scan cabinet where the embedded
lane scanner would normally be installed.
The plates also provide a mounting location for the cradle for a
wireless hand scanner.
The RPQ provides for integration of a Customer-Furnished Cradle
for a Symbol Hand Scanner and interconnect cable.
The RPQ provides for optional integration of a Customer-Furnished
Pin Pad and associated power and interconnect cables. The RPQ
allows a choice of 1 of 2 possible pin pads.
The following specify codes should be selected if these items are
being provided to the Toshiba manufacturing plant. (min = 0,
max = 2)
- SC5229, Pin Pad, Verifone MX830, or
- SC5219, Pin Pad, Verifone MX915
PLEASE NOTE: Order configuration can have either SC5219 or SC5229,
but not both.
Customer Furnished Equipment (CFE) must be provided to the Toshiba
manufacturing plant before the order can be fulfilled.
In order to ship the CFE equipment installed from a Toshiba plant,
a RoHS Product Declaration (PCD) must be provided to TGCS
Procurement before the RPQ can be announced.

If the Verifone MX830 or MX915 are required, and have been
provided to the plant for inclusion with the order, one of the
following Specify Codes must be ordered:
- SC5229, Pin Pad, Verifone MX830, or
- SC5219, Pin Pad, Verifone MX915
PLEASE NOTE: Order configuration can have either SC5219 or SC5229,
but not both.
Customer Furnished Equipment must be provided to the Toshiba
manufacturing plant before an order can be fulfilled.
Limitations :
The related PCDs must be on file with TGCS Procurement to insure
an order can ship.
If the CFE is not provided to the plant the order cannot be
fulfilled.
The RPQ list price is discountable.
RPQ Warranty :
The warranty terms for this RPQ assume the same warranty terms of
the machine in which it is installed for the remainder of the
warranty period for such machine.
TGCS will not be liable for any loss of, or damage to,the Customer's
records, or data, or for any lost profits, lost savings, incidental
damages, or other economic consequential damages, even if advised of
the possibility of such damages. In addition, TGCS will not be
liable for any third-party claims against the customer for losses or
damages.
