New With PC DOS 2000
PC DOS 2000 contains integrated Year 2000 updates and code enhancements for PCs that fail to update the BIOS Century Byte information. Without this BIOS century-rollover provision, many systems may cause DOS to report an incorrect system date. The century-rollover may not work on some older machines. No action is required on your part. The update is an automatic event during installation.
You can use dates between January 1, 1980, and December 31, 2079.
Support for the new European Monetary Union's (EMU) eurocurrency symbol is included in PC DOS 2000. The eurocurrency symbol has been added to code page 850 and includes a special sequence of keystrokes to invoke it in Latin keyboards.
The version is displayed with the VER command. When you type the VER command, you will see:

SuperStor/DS, and earlier versions of Stacker. This support is
designed to use little conventional memory.
