Expert Labs solution services for Turbonomic

One Day Consulting

  • These remotely delivered services are purchased per engagement and expire 90 days from the date of purchase of entitlement, regardless of whether all hours have been used.
  • These remotely delivered architectural consultation services assist organizations with the following:
    • Identification and validation of actionable use cases
    • Defining or reviewing architecture
    • Migration approach
    • Defining organization's business value and their expectations
    • High-level roadmaps pertaining to a organization's architecture, solution design, build, and implementation
  • Each engagement of this service includes consultation and delivery of a maximum of 8 person hours conducted using virtual sessions.
  • IBM conducts a kickoff meeting at the commencement of this engagement to accomplish the following:
    • Review the organization's requirements
    • Understand the organization's objectives
    • Define roles and responsibilities
    • Document planned activities, priorities, and timelines
  • As prioritized and defined in the kickoff meeting, and as time permits, IBM spends the remainder of the 8 hours to perform interviews, review documentation, and perform agreed-upon prioritized activities.

One Week Solution Build

  • This one-week, remotely delivered service includes consultation and delivery of a maximum of 40 person hours conducted using virtual sessions.
  • It helps build a solution that is based on IBM recommended practices that involve one IBM Cloud® technology in a predefined architecture.
  • This service consists of two phases:
    • Phase 1. At the commencement of this solution build service, IBM conducts a kickoff meeting for up to 2 hours on a mutually agreed-to date.
    • Phase 2. Activity is based on the results of the first phase.
  • IBM prioritizes the defined Phase 1 activities and, as time permits, the remainder of the 40 hours of services is spent to help build a solution that is based on IBM recommended practices and that involve one IBM Cloud technology in a predefined architecture.
  • This service is used when organizations need implementation help in areas such as the following:
    • Migration
    • Integration setup
    • Customization of the solution through coding and scripts
    • Configuration and performance scripts
    • Upgrades
    • Other custom configurations that are based on requirements
  • Each 40-hour unit covers:
    • Whiteboarding
    • Across-the-table (virtual) discussion
    • Best practices recommendations
    • Automating the execution of tasks through coding and scripting
    • Configuration for user stories identified during the architectural workshop, which is a prerequisite
  • For larger or more complex solutions, multiple units of the One Week Solution Build part number for the specific segments should be purchased in consultation with the respective IBM services focal point.
  • Deliverables include supporting documents that are based on the nature of the solution that will be created during the delivery.

RemoteOne Week Solution Build

IBM provides remotely delivered services to help build a solution based on IBM recommended practices in a predefined architecture. Each unit of this one-week service includes consultation and delivery of a maximum of 40 remote person hours through virtual sessions.

Activity 1: Conduct Project Kickoff Meeting

IBM will conduct a kickoff meeting for up to 2 hours on a mutually agreed-to date at the commencement of this consulting service to perform activities such as the following:

  • Review organization's requirements.
  • Understand organization's objectives.
  • Assess completeness of the Solution Architecture and Plan. If required, conduct a workshop to complete the Solution Architecture and Plan needed to define the Solution Build activities. Deliverables consist of high-level architectural decisions and a list of initial user stories.
  • Define roles and responsibilities of organization and IBM.
  • Document planned activities, priorities, and timelines.

Activity 2: Solution Build

As prioritized and defined in Activity 1, and as time permits, IBM will spend the remainder of the 40 person hours of services to help build a solution based on solution architecture and IBM recommended best practices.

For larger or more complex solutions, organizations may obtain multiple units in consultation with a services sales focal point based on the scope defined in Activity 1.

Deliverables consist of supporting documents based on the nature of the solution that are created during the delivery of the services.

TAM Service

An IBM Business Partner provides this remotely delivered consultation service, TAM, to assist organizations for up to 8 hours per month with their technology adoption and digital transformation journey, as listed below:

  • Onboarding of business units and teams.
  • Map applicable business outcomes, uses case, and map solutions for best practice use and deployment.
  • Discuss with the organization's team on the project plan, milestones, resources, and timelines related to their journey.
  • Discuss with organization on solution architectures required to support current and future operational requirements.
  • Assist organization with the deployment of the agreed solution architecture.
  • Discuss the processes and procedures required to track financial and performance benefits.
  • Provide general hands-on technical training using workshops.
  • Maintain weekly office hours for how to sessions.
  • Track progress towards defined adoption and expansion plans.
  • Provide guidance around upgrade feature mapping and planning.
  • Review usage metrics, open tickets, and deployment issues.
  • Have roadmap discussions and best practice guidance.
  • Have proactive communications about support cases and education.
  • Review strategic alignment.
  • Assess joint scorecard.
  • Track results against business strategy and objectives.
  • Provide product roadmap review.
  • Focus on any issues requiring leadership escalation.

What is not included:

  • Project management.
  • Application deployment.
  • Hardware or infrastructure setup for development, questions and answers, and production environments.
  • Will not perform services on competitive technologies, products, or services.
  • Full, unassisted design of the technologies listed above.
  • Full, unassisted implementation of the technologies listed above.
  • Anything not in scope is considered out of scope.
