Overview
Effective December 31, 2018, IBM® will withdraw from marketing the following program licensed under the IBM International Program License Agreement:

The withdrawal from marketing and discontinuance of service of CICS Explorer V5.3 provides an opportunity for clients still using this earlier release to upgrade to a more recent release, to take advantage of the latest technology and support for related IBM products, such as CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS).
As the service window of underlying technology, such as IBM Explorer for z/OS, moves up, then so must those products that consume that technology in order to remain supported by IBM.
