Integrate security and compliance checkpoints into your everyday workflows by configuring your applications to use the IBM Cloud Security and Compliance Center SDK package.
For highly regulated industries, such as Financial Services, achieving continuous security within a cloud environment is an important first step toward protecting customer and application data. Historically, that process has been difficult and manual, which placed your organization at risk. With the IBM Cloud Security and Compliance Center, you can integrate automatic security checks into everyday workflows that are designed to minimize risk.

To make it easier to programmatically access the API from your code, a Security and Compliance Center SDK package is now available. The SDK implements best practices for using the API and reduces the amount of code that you need to write.
Previously, SDKs were available for some components of the service, but they were packaged separately. As part of this change, there is now one centralized SDK package for all of the Security and Compliance Center components.
What does that mean for me?
If you are already using an SDK, this means that you will need to migrate to the new SDK package by 31 December, 2021. At that time, the previous SDKs will be deprecated and no longer actively maintained.
The documentation for the original SDKs has been replaced by the new SDK. If you are still working with the SDK and run in to an issue, you can review the documentation directly in GitHub. The previously available Configuration Governance SDK was packaged as part of the platform, while Security Advisor was packaged separately.
How do I get started?
To get started, install the SDK that you want to work with, in the language of your choice. The tab for each language includes code examples that demonstrate how to use the client libraries. The available languages are Go, Java, Node and Python:
For detailed instructions on how to integrate the SDK, select the API that you'd like to work with and review the documentation:
