New Feature: IBM Cloud Load Balancer Support for Multiple Zones Now Generally Available

2 min read

With IBM Cloud Load Balancer, you can now distribute traffic to back-end servers in different data centers within an IBM Cloud region.

You can now balance production workloads that require a highly-available, in-region environment in IBM Cloud. When creating a load balancer, you will specify the data center where it should be created. If that data center is part of an IBM Cloud Region that has multiple availability zones, you can have load balancer instances in different data centers within the region for better availability in the event that traffic in one of these data centers is disrupted.
