OUA teamed up with IBM Services to create a seamless experience for students applying for degrees online. Using agile methodology, together they co-designed a unified platform, enabling data sharing across 14 partner universities and providing a 360-degree view of student engagement. This improved lead capture and helped grow new student enrolments.

Fragmented IT landscape was impacting student experience

With 14 university partners and tens of thousands of students currently enrolled, OUA had a complex model and a fragmented IT landscape. As a result, students found it difficult to search for the right course and applying for one would take weeks due to multiple human touch points. This was negatively impacting new student enrolments. OUA needed a unified platform to improve student experience, and its lead capture process.

To move from a fragmented landscape to a unified platform, OUA needed to transform its technology stack, for which it turned to IBM's Bluewolf. The journey started with Bluewolf Health Check to identify bottlenecks, basis which it combined Salesforce Sales, Service, Marketing, and Community Clouds on Lightning Experience.
