Since its inception, Jibes has developed innovative solutions that help its customers harness data to monitor markets and generate sales leads. At the onset of the engagement, the company was nearing the end of a development cycle. To maintain its customer base and generate new business, it recognized that it needed to build data analytics solutions in response to actual market conditions and demand instead of relying on year-long planning phases. Transformation

Jibes is using application programming interfaces (APIs) from the IBM Watson Developer Cloud platform, including the IBM Natural Language Classifier service, to accelerate and enhance its development of customized data analytics solutions for customers. Developed based on actual market conditions, the new solutions analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data from a wide array of internal and external sources to yield market insights and generate useful sales leads. Moving forward, Jibes also plans to use the APIs to develop new decision support systems.
