Clearing the path to value – Feedback from 300+ US providers

Survey research on behalf of Modern Healthcare and IBM® Watson Health™ business, sought to gauge the sentiment of healthcare leaders about the current industry climate generally and the move toward value-based care more specifically. The responses of more than 300 healthcare executives points to an industry that is advancing toward value-based care, albeit slowly.

Providers’ responses stressed a need for more robust data and advanced analytic capabilities to allow providers to make informed decisions while complying with growing requirements for data reporting as well as the need for improved physician and post-acute care network alignment.
