Does your pricing solution speak your language?

When you listen, what languages do you hear? Just think about it.

I recently took a trip to Canada. During my trip I heard French, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese. As I did my touring and shopping, I needed to be able to pay in American dollars or in Canadian dollars. Everywhere I shopped, all the retailers took both currencies.

Why is globalization important? Because in today’s global economy, IBM products need to be translated into multiple languages so everyone can use the solutions in the language they are most familiar with to obtain the greatest value. Plus, the solution needs to support global retailers who operate in multiple countries. Having multi-currency support enables retailers to manage all of their international sites within the same system.

Dynamic Pricing’s user interface and guided tours are currently available in these languages:

  • English
  • Spanish
  • French
  • German
  • Brazilian Portuguese
  • Italian
  • Korean
  • Japanese

 

Let’s take a look at a few examples. Let me show you how to set your language preference to Spanish.

  1. Click on your User name.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. From the Language drop-down, choose a language.
  4. Click Save.

After you choose a language, the user interface and guided tours are translated.

To find the guided tours, go to Help > Getting started.

And, Dynamic Pricing will support even more languages in the months to come.
