Systems social media + IBM Think 2018 = The technology event you can’t miss

Share this post:

IBM Think, in its inaugural year, is a conference where the brightest minds will gather to help make businesses work smarter. IBM Systems will be there at the center of the Modern Infrastructure Campus, where you’ll find dozens of learning sessions, think tanks, certifications, networking and more. Whether you’re attending Think in person or following the action remotely, there are numerous ways to stay in touch with what’s happening through the web and social media.

Meme Generator & Social Wall

All attendees who take a conference selfie will have an opportunity to select custom frames and Systems-inspired stickers to create fun memes. Make sure to visit the Modern Infrastructure Campus social wall to see your meme displayed.

Sharing your meme with the conference hashtag #think2018 has its perks too. Systems is offering an opportunity to meet featured speaker Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson. Let the best meme win!

Social VIPs

From time to time, IBM Systems will invite industry social influencers to attend marquee conferences. Their registration and accommodations are covered by IBM Systems; however, the content and opinions expressed are directly from the influencers. Jump into the conversation and engage with our Systems IT Innovators.

You can also participate in live Q&A for featured sessions and filter based on topic and session highlights. We’re excited to launch this at Think 2018.

Social accounts, hashtags and a blog to follow

Twitter. Whether you’re in Las Vegas or follow on social, Twitter will be at the center of conference activity. Be sure to follow the IBM Systems Twitter feed at @IBMSystems.

Facebook. On Facebook, you can follow IBM Systems and see pictures from keynote sessions, campus highlights, think tanks, entertainment and more. You may even see some behind-the-scenes footage on Facebook Live.

Hashtag. The official event hashtag is #think2018.

Blog. Stay tuned-in right here on the IBM IT Infrastructure blog for daily recaps during the event and reflections in the weeks to follow.

And yes, there’s an app for that

If you are headed to Think, the IBM Events mobile app is the best way to make plans, build an agenda with the help of Watson and explore event offerings. In addition to using it to follow the event schedule, users can access networking tools and interactive maps. The app also includes gamification features and includes a chance to win prizes.

You can download the app now and start planning. Search IBM Events in the App Store or on Google Play.

As you build your agenda for the conference, be sure to check out featured curriculum sessions for the various IBM Systems brands.

I look forward to seeing many of you at Think and connecting on social.
